Winterfest Saturday Feb 1st & NDRA will be there!!!
Newmarket is hosting their 45th Annual Winterfest Saturday Feb 1st & NDRA will be there!!! Winterfest is a great opportunity for community organizations, like us, to come out and show the community what we are all about and hopefully get new registrations. This is free publicity. Let's show everyone how fun it is to play Ringette!!! The day runs from 8:30-3:30.
We will be holding a Ringette Skill and Drill outside where we will need some ringette players to demonstrate what they do so well and get other girls to try to hold a stick and shoot the ring into the net. We will also need ringette players inside at a table talking about the game and getting people interested in our next “Come Try Ringette” event in April. We are looking for 2 girls inside and 2 girls outside throughout the day, and for high school students, this counts towards your volunteer hours !!! I will also need a couple of adults to help me out. If you can come out for the day, or just part of it, that would be wonderful as it will be filled with fascinating people! Please contact me at
