2nd Annual Golden Ring Charity Game

With the holidays quickly approaching we look forward to spending time with family and friends in the comfort of our homes. Unfortunately there are families who struggle on a daily basis for basic necessities.
NDRA is excited to announce the
2nd Annual Golden Ring Charity Game benefiting the Newmarket Food Pantry. This much anticipated rematch between Ringette’s Open B Team and Hockey’s BenchWarmers Team will once again raise the roof at Magna Centre.
Date: Tuesday Dec 1st
Time: 7:45pm
Place: Magna Centre (Honda Rink)
Prize: Golden Ring Trophy + 1yr bragging rights
Last year, Ringette prevailed with an exciting 5-4 victory. Will Hockey triumph in 2015? Or will Ringette defend its crown?
Thanks to everyone’s generous contributions in 2014, we donated over 200lbs of food to the Newmarket Food Pantry. We hope you will spare an hour of your time and come cheer on these teams, watch an exciting Ringette game, and donate a non-perishable food item(s).
The following items are those most needed by the Food Pantry:

juice boxes
•
peanut butter
•
canned stew or chili
•
canned mushroom soup
•
nutritious lunch snacks
•
toiletry items (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toilet paper)
•
baby formula
•
junior size baby food (fruit)

Who is BenchWarmers Team?
A Men's hockey team consisting of Ringette Dads - Jeff (U12, U16), Eric (U16), Claude (U16), Rob (U14), Bill (U9), Dave (U12), Glenn (U19A), Jer (U10), John (U14), Brad (U12), Mike (U12), Ron (U12), Shane (LTP, U10), Lui (U16, U12).
