U12 Sort Outs - FREE to ATTEND
Submitted By webmaster on Wednesday, June 1, 2016
U12 sort outs  ..… Sunday June 5     6:00 – 7:30pm.

The sort outs are FREE to attend. All the players will be evaluated and ranked by skill level displayed. 1 of 2 things will happen from the sort outs. (Please see NDRA's team formation policy for further information).

http://newmarketringette.ca/Public/Documents/Policies/TeamStructurePolicy.pdf

1). The top 12 players will be identified and approached confidentially (1 goalie and 11 skaters) to form a possible PP or A team for the upcoming 2016 / 2017 season. An information package email will be sent to the 12 families to review and decide if they would like their player to be part of the team, to fully understand the commitment level that would be required and expected of the player, the families as well as a rough budget.

2). If the players and families do not want to commit to the PP or A team, or NDRA decides not to host a PP or A team at the U12 level, then the ranked players will be evenly distributed to create two equal team to play in the B loop, as is the case with other associations that have two B teams.

At this point we are asking you bring your player out for Sunday June 5 @ 6:00 – 7:30pm at no cost, for the U12 sort outs as either way, there will be two U12 level team next year for NDRA. So we need to SORT OUT at what level of play the teams will be hosted at.

When you arrive, please check in at the NDRA table, near the hall leading to the dressing rooms so your daughter can be assigned a pinney.
While the players are on the ice, further details, questions and discussions will take place at 6:30 pm with parents by the old restaurant upstairs at Magna with Coach and Player Development Murdock Brooks.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Murdock at [email protected]
