U12-Proctor win Gold at Newmarket's Ignite the Ice Tournament!
Submitted By Webmaster on Tuesday, February 21, 2017
The U12-Proctor Squad put out a high octane effort to Ignite-the-Ice this weekend.  We saw fantastic competition from Iroquois Falls, Walden, and Tillsonburg with nothing but close games and furious action up and down the ice and plenty to cheer about for all teams.  The round robin came down to the last 30 seconds of play which nearly led to an all Newmarket Final with U12-Linton.

The girls kept up their intensity in the finals where no lead was safe against a gritty Iroquois Falls team but were able to close things out with an 11-8 victory to protect home ice in a Gold Medal Victory – Congrats Girls!!!  Huge thanks to Team Linton for a solid showing of sportsmanship coming out to support our squad in the finals.  Have to thank all parents and girls for chipping in to help out with the various volunteering needs throughout the tournament as well.
