Adult Ringette
NDRA wants to hear from you - the adults.
NDRA has been approached by many parents and is considering the option of bringing back our Open Recreation Division.
Here is an overview of what "Open Rec" is.
1. Registration fee = $375
2. No practices, 20 weekday games
3. Referees will be assigned to games (younger "new" officials are used during these games for development purposes)
4. In the past years, these games have been played on Wednesday nights at 9:15pm, however we have not confirmed any specific date or time at this point
5. There is no travel or tournaments
6. NDRA is strongly encouraging men and women to register and making this a mixed division as long as proper ringette masks and sticks (along with all other protective equipment) is worn. Hockey pants in place of a girdle and ringette pants is completely acceptable.
In order to make this division happen we NEED to have a minimum of 16 registered players (aged 17+) plus 2 goalies registered by the AGM (May 25th).
Please take a few minutes to answer the following questions so the NDRA board is able to make an informed decision to open the registration for this division.
Are you a former Elite or Provincial ringette player with a continued passion to play ringette at a competitive level? NDRA is considering hosting an Open A TOURNAMENT team. This team would be comprised of former high level ringette players and would only play in tournaments (and hopefully Provincials) with no regular season games or practices. If this is something you may be interested in, please be sure to answer the last two questions.
